Why?

Why are you pro-Life? or

Why are you pro-choice?

I do not want to hear party rhetoric repeated mindlessly.

Why do you stand for what you do?

Why is it important to YOU?



I am pro-Life because I believe that every person is created by God. And that when He creates them He has a destiny for each one. In other words, I believe that every person was conceived for a reason. It's that simple.


Because of this I cannot be silent. How can I do nothing? 

Pray, and Keep Praying

       Obviously we can't all make it to the big rallies. And most of us are not great orators.
      So what do we do? 
     We have limited resources and little experience. When we speak does anybody listen? 

    There is at least one person I can think of who is always listening. God is not absent, and He is not deaf.
    Pray. Even if that's is all you can do. It is the most effective things that anyone can do. 

More effective than great speeches. 

Far greater than hundreds of thousands of people marching in protest.

Pray breaks spiritual strongholds. It opens the eyes of the people, potential mothers and fathers. It brings healing. Pray changes everything.

This is for LIFE. We are fighting for lives. 

It is not an easy task, but how can we refuse? 

Pray for the abortion doctors and nurses. 

Pray for the mothers and fathers who will never see their child.

Pray for law makers who will stand for righteousness.

Pray for abortion giants to fall.

Pray for life to be protected.

Pray. 

Pray. 

Pray.

And keep praying!!

Have you thought about what they mean?

Wilberforce was talking about slavery, but I think he'd agree that they fit just as well the issue of abortion.

People like to say that all the great orators are gone, and no one speaks with that kind of passion anymore. I do not believe them. There are people out there, maybe you are one of them, who have mastered the art of speaking and you can use that gift to change things. Don't be afraid, do not be discouraged, small knocks can topple great walls.

We must 'never, never desist till we have wiped away this scandal' this horror, remember that you do not fight alone, together we are stronger.

Am I Not a Person?

I recently watched the old b&w "To Be or Not To Be"(1942) and one of the characters quoted Shylock, though he was speaking of racial/religious injustice I thought it spoke well on the issue of abortion. 
So I will take some liberties with the wording:


I am a person.
Hath not a person eyes?
Hath not a person hands, organs, dimensions, senses...
If you prick us, do we not bleed?
If you poison us, do we not die?
